The Challenge – Exes 2 Rankings: Week Six & Seven

The Challenge – Exes 2 Rankings: Week Six & Seven

battle-of-the-exes-2

So remember when last weeks mostly episode was to be continued? Here’s how it picked up:

The Dome: Stacking Up

There were two piles of crates and two bells.  The goal was to stack the crates and climb the tower to reach the bell to ring.  It definitely would take communication, but also balance.  One member handed the crates while the other stacked the crates.  Not really a SPEED elimination per se.  It was a very tight race but ultimate our winners were…

Winners: Averey & Johnny! (maybe now she’ll relax, and stop hating Johnny for no good reason?)

So now we can go back to our regularly scheduled challenge recap structure in 5…4…3…2…1…

First Impressions Are:  The tease of the episode started with Sarah and Nia commiserating over Jordan’s shittitude.  It wont go well for that pairing if they don’t get it together soon.  Me thought it’d be heavy on them this episode.

The Challenge: ARE YOU THE ONE (TRIVIA!)

It was pretty much the same old competition from each year.  The contestants had to answer as many questions correctly as possible or risk being thrown into the water they were suspended above.  It was general trivia, plus spelling (which is always a classic).  Each team had two strikes before they met the water.  Last team standing = power couple.

The Power Couple: Jenna & Jay (whoa…)

The Losers: Averey & Johnny

The Vote: Having pulled off the biggest upset ever, the game has spun off its axis with Jenna & Jay winning the challenge.  Jenna & Jay felt like they could be carried with Sarah & Jordan down the road, so they struck a deal.  Averey & Johnny are part of Jordan’s alliance, so they couldn’t be called in either.  Jonna & Zach are both their respective boos, and putting in Theresa & Wes would be suicide.  It’s weird to say, but it might have been the smart move.  To the dome:  Nia & Leroy V. Averey & Johnny

The Dome: Hooking Up

The goal was to hook your opponent before they hooked you.  The were ropes hanging all over a circle.  The minute you carabeened a hook to your competitor, they would fly up in the air and it’d count for a point.  Guys v. guys and girls v. girls

Winners: Nia & Leroy (2 to 0)

Power Couple Rankings

1. Theresa & Wes – things got pretty quiet for them at the top this week.

2. Sarah & Jordan –  If this team could have just communicated half as well as they did early on, they’d have ran away with this.

3. Nia & Leroy –  Leroy…ya aint so smert huh?  He and Nia were very smart arguing their case at dinner.  BUT NOW THE BEAST HAS AWOKEN.  Jay you’re fucked, bro.

4. Jonna & Zach – Zach bro, talking all biblically is not a good look.  That was the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard anyone say about women in general.

5. Jenna & Jay – I would tell you to give yourself some credit Jenna about being dumb, but you’re the dumbest.  However, they pulled off the biggest upset in trivia history.

The Biggest Losers

1. Brittany & Adam – I will admit, I don’t really like them, but they showed they belong on the show and going forward, I think they can hang in the middle of a challenge.

2. Averey & Johnny – great competitors, but they ran into a buzzsaw in the dome.  They’ll be good next season.

Second Impressions Are: There really are no more pure alliances, so I expect people to really start showing their true colors.  God this season is awesome.
