Lily Allen has been gone what feels like eons in music years. The 28 year old singer/songwriter took four years off of recording new music and in that time, she had two kids. In the time she was gone, Ke$ha, Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, Miley Cyrus, and other garbagey pop music, Adele notwithstanding, has taken over the radio. It’s awesome to see her back on the scene and ready to take on some of her contemporaries.
If you don’t understand that this video is a condemnation of the differences of men and women and selling sex in popular music, you dumb. I normally hate sarcasm in videos, but for now that we live in a post-Miley world, I think young girls need to see that theres plenty of “cool” girls who aren’t fucking idiots who sell their bodies.
